  • Kristi Lively
    DVM

    Dr. Lively is a 1994 graduate of Vanderbilt University, having majored in Molecular Biology. She was in the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine Class of ’99 where she graduated with honors in the top tier of her class. After vet school, she completed a competitive internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She was elected as Tennessee's New Graduate Representative for the AVMA's annual Leadership Conference. In 2005 she successfully achieved status as a Diplomat for the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, specializing in Canine and Feline practice. In 2006, she was recognized as the TVMA’s Young Veterinarian of the Year. Most recently, she was awarded the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine’s First Decade of Achievement award. Dr. Lively has served as a Board Member to the Young-Williams Animal Center, and is a past board member for the Companion Animal Initiative in Tennessee. She is also an active member of the Society for Theriogenology, the Knoxville Veterinary Medical Association, the International Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society,  and the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association Peer Review Committee. Dr. Lively has served as president of the Knoxville Veterinary Medical Association. Her primary professional interests include senior pet care, critical care, pain management, reproductive medicine and endocrinology

  • Adele Mays
    DVM

    Dr. Adele Mays graduated first in her class at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She received the Sterling Radiology Award for Outstanding Achievement in Veterinary Radiology and was also awarded the Chancellor's Citation for Extraordinary Professional Promise. Dr. Mays is a 1989 graduate of Vanderbilt University, with a double major in English and Philosophy. Dr. Mays' areas of special professional interest include radiology, ultrasonography, and endoscopy.

    Tinsley Youmans,
    DVM, MPH

    Dr. Youmans is a Knoxville native and graduate of University of Tennessee’s College of Veterinary Medicine Class of 2009. She also earned a master’s degree in veterinary public health from the University of Tennessee, giving her special insight into the veterinary public health field. Dr. Youmans enjoys practicing internal medicine, managing chronic disease, and teaching 4th year veterinary students. She also a Board Member of the Tennessee Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners and serves on the board of the Knoxville Veterinary Medical Association as Past President. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family. In Practice Since: 2009 Education: University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.

  • Brittany Bible DVM

    Dr. Brittany Bible graduated from Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has called Tennessee home since then, with her husband, son, rescued pets, and farm animals. She originally did general practice but has practiced emergency medicine for the past few years and enjoys all aspects of caring for you and your loved fur family during an unexpected need for veterinary care.

  • Jeff C
    Clinic Manager / Vet Assistant

    Jeff came to us from the human health field in 2011, and is now using his previous clinical and laboratory experience with his 4-legged patients. Jeff also doubles as our in-house computer tech support expert, and spearheads all of our computer system upgrades and maintenance. In his off time, he enjoys hanging out with friends and his Pug, Dudley.

  • Jenny Warren
    Certified Pet Groomer
    Jenny has been grooming since 2003 and has been with us since December of 2010. She enjoys cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs. Even though she may not be a Tennessee Vols fan, we can forgive her because she a great groomer and co-worker! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
  • Laura G
    Veterinary Assistant

    Laura has been in the veterinary field since 2019 after receiving her Bachelor’s in Animal Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Having been a pet trainer while in school and minoring in Wildlife & Fisheries, she has an interest in animal behavior and wildlife rehabilitation. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her fiancé, Aaron, and rescue pup, Lola.

    Vet Assistant

    Kendall moved to Tennessee in June of 2023 after completing her undergraduate degree in Animal Science at NC State University (go Wolfpack!). She has been in the field for 4 years and has experience with animals of all shapes and sizes. Kendall is a member of University of Tennessee’s College of Veterinary Medicine Class of 2028 and hopes to work in a mixed animal practice upon graduating. In her free time, Kendall enjoys reading and traveling with her husband, Ian.

    Vet Assistant

    Skyler is originally from South Florida and is passionate about nurturing the bond between pets and their owners and understands the importance of preventative health care for them. His military background, his passion for animals, and willingness to learn about helping animals and people, are the reasons he became a veterinary assistant 1 year ago.
